The Spice of Life pattern, featuring vegetables like onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms, was produced from 1972 until 1987. The casserole dishes were made to be used on the range, in the oven, and in the microwave. This particular design is a popular collectible item. The dish is made of fused glass with a ceramic surface coating. Safe for: • Conventional ovens • Microwave ovens • Broiler (short exposure — not right up against the flame) • Freezer and refrigerator Your clear glass lid is tempered Pyrex, and it’s oven safe up to about 425 °F (218 °C).
