N/A Vintage 1940s Excello Chromium‎ Baby Food Warming Dish Divided Bakelite Handles

BRAND: Exello COLOR: Silver, beige MATERIAL: Chrome, porcelain & bakelite. TYPE: Baby plate SIZE: 8 in CONDITION: Preowned; gently used. Vintage; 1940s FLAWS: Normal wear consistent with age. There's crazing present in the porcelain. No cracks, no chips. Also the cork that covers the water hole is broken , but that can be easily replaced. This type of baby plates were used to maintain the baby's food warm. The hollow area between the porcelain and the chrome was filled with hot water and that kept the food warm. I'm not sure if the cork is the original seal for the water opening or if there was another type of covering. Overall this dish is in good vintage condition and is a gorgeous and unique piece for display. DISCLAIMER: I have inspected this item to the best of my ability and pointed at the flaws I've found.
