☆About Kanoko Chin-koro and Kanzashi Sets☆

While our Kanzashi sets may occasionally include a Kanoko Chin-koro as a bonus, we generally do not include them.

This is partly because it can be difficult to collect a wide variety of colors and types, and also because we believe that pre-attaching a Kanoko to a set may not always match the kimono you plan to wear.

As shown in the images of our Kanzashi sets, the impression of the Kanzashi set can change significantly depending on the color of the Kanoko Chin-koro.

The Kanoko available for purchase are either new, near-new, or used once with no noticeable defects that would interfere with use.
The standards for size and weight in our handmade items are based on Oharibako. Also, while some items are listed as new, the fabric may be from upcycled materials.
Please refer to the images for the condition of each Kanoko.

We hope these items, along with our Kanzashi sets, will be helpful for your preparations for Shichi-Go-San, Coming-of-Age ceremonies, and weddings.

③ White with gold pattern, near-new, Kyoto Kanoko, shows signs of age - ¥500

⑦ Light purple overall Shibori (slightly loose texture) - ¥800

As these are not all brand new items, there may be slight color variations, dullness, signs of age, pin marks, etc. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details.

There are also many people who focus on handmade Kanoko Chin-koro (I follow several of them), so it might be helpful to refer to their work as well.
