Kyoto Ohari-bako Hair Clip Tsumami Zaiku
I fell in love with this at first sight during a trip to Kyoto a few years ago and bought it.
The shop was called Oharibako.
I don't wear traditional Japanese clothing, so I've never actually used it.
(I did open it and hold it.)
How about for pre-wedding photos in a kimono or for Shichi-Go-San (a traditional rite of passage for young children)?
It has a bell attached, which makes a cute rin-rin sound.
The pale color also makes it suitable for everyday use.
I remember it costing around 2000 yen each, so I think this is a great deal.
