infogrames Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare Game

Up for sale is a classic piece of survival horror history: Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare for PC. This is the original 2001 Big Box release, not a modern jewel case reprint. Condition & Contents: Original Big Box: Shows some light shelf wear (see photos), but retains great color and structural integrity. Discs: Includes the original game discs. Inserts: Includes the original manual and the rare Easter Egg installation sheet. Collectors, take note! This copy includes the original, uncorrected installation sheet. Due to a famous printing error by the publisher (Infogrames), the instructions accidentally refer to Monopoly instead of Alone in the Dark. This is a well-known quirk among retro gaming enthusiasts and confirms these are the authentic original inserts from the first production run. Features the dual-protagonist gameplay of Edward Carnby and Aline Cedrac. A must-have for fans of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, or the original AitD trilogy. Perfect for a shelf display in a horror or retro gaming collection.
