【Artist-made / Stage Costume】Kotosomebito (Synthetic Fiber) Mandala Sleeve Length 75cm With Paulownia Box

From Koto Somebito, a rare stage costume (synthetic fiber). Previously owned by a former popular theater actor. Said to be a piece that gave me confidence when I danced in it.

Features a stunning mandala pattern with a silver-colored base. The lining is a luxurious gold-colored Hyakunin Isshu (Images 3, 4). It bears the inscription Kana Someori Bijutsuhin Patent No. 2832664 (Image 3), suggesting a unique patented technique. Appears to be hand-painted yuzen-style/gold leaf processing (technique not definitively identified). No crest.

Deodorized and sterilized with ozone.
