Japanese Style Lace Kappogi (Apron) - Rose Pattern - Black/Red - Kimono Workwear - Easy Mizuyagaki (Water Changing Apron)

US Size:

This is a kapprogi (cooking apron) made of lace, designed to be worn over a kimono without the sleeves getting in the way.
It is convenient for assisting while wearing a kimono.

Besides uwappari, there are various other names depending on the shape, such as hippari, home coat, kitchen coat, and mizuyagi.

The shape resembles a shortened dochu-gi (a type of kimono jacket).
It has a boat-shaped sleeve that looks like a shortened kimono sleeve, a short body, and front ties (inner and outer) to fasten it, similar to a dochu-gi.
It is tailored for easy wear.

Can be folded compactly.
It is lightweight.
