[Japanese Zori] Tokyo Mitsukoshi
These zori were a cherished purchase from the kimono section of Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store.
The delicate dusty pink color is beautiful, with an intricate lace-like woven pattern.
• Size: Approx. 23.5 cm
• Heel height: Approx. 4.5 cm
The surface, front toe, thong strap, top, sole, and wrapping are all clean and in good condition.
They were primarily used indoors for exhibitions, tea ceremonies, and gatherings. The underside of the zori shows some wear from occasional outdoor use for lunches, as shown in the images.
The zori have been cleaned prior to listing, but please refer to image 19 for the underside. They will be given a final cleaning before shipping.

This bag was finally found after searching for one that would complement the zori and could be used for both Japanese and Western attire.
It's a versatile item that works well with kimonos and suits.
The clasp closure makes it easy to open and close, and it has a good capacity.
The bag is generally clean, but when I removed the protective film from the magnetic clasp, which had been on since purchase, it left some marks. The handle also has marks from when it was originally purchased (see image 18).
These are all in areas that would be covered and are not very noticeable, but please understand the condition of the items described above before purchasing.
As this is a used item stored at home, please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfection or are concerned about minor details.
