Vintage. Found in my grandmothers utensil drawer. Still had $1.00 price tag on it from wherever she bought it. I did not take it off. Thought it was unique that she only paid $1 for it. It's definitely old. Not made like this anymore. Like the smaller size. Fits in your hand nicely. This item is a double sided meat tenderizer hammer made of cast aluminum. Construction: Heavy-cast aluminum alloy for durability and rust resistance. Design: Double-sided head featuring a textured side for breaking down tough muscle fibers and a flat side for flattening meat. Usage: Used to tenderize various meats like steaks and chops, and can also be used to crack ice or smash garlic. Maintenance: Generally recommended to be hand washed only to maintain its quality.
