Tanokuchi Yakushi (Tanokuchi Yakushi) is the common name for Toshō-ji Temple, located in Kagawa Prefecture, Higashikagawa City, Hida.

It has long been affectionately known locally as Tanokuchi no Okushisan and is particularly known for its efficacy in treating eye diseases.

According to legend, when Kōbō Daishi (Kūkai) visited this place, he struck the ground with his staff, and clear water sprang forth. It is said that washing one's eyes with this water cured illnesses.
