Goshuincho Case - Shibakusa Pattern

This is a Goshuincho (temple/shrine stamp book) case made from repurposed kimono fabric.

Size: Approximately 15 x 22 cm (please allow for slight variations).

Photo 3: Shows two Goshuincho books, one 12 x 18 cm with a 1.5 cm thickness, and another 11 x 16 cm book, fitting inside.

It can hold up to two Goshuincho books of size 12 x 18 cm.

Outer kimono fabric: Shibakusa (lawn grass) pattern. The small circles in the pattern have a glossy sheen depending on the light.
Inner kimono fabric: Beautiful yellow-green color with a hexagonal pattern and Sarasa (Indian chintz) motifs.
A silk thread tassel is attached as an accent.

? Tassels are said to ward off evil spirits.

Interfacing is applied to both sides.

* Please note that the color and texture of the actual product may differ slightly from the images due to lighting conditions.

* The item will be ironed before shipping, but will be sent in simple packaging.
If wrinkles occur, please iron at a low temperature with a cloth covering.

This is a handmade item made from repurposed clothing, so it is not perfect.
There may be overlooked wrinkles, distortions, or stains.
