This is a Sanjaku Obi (three-shaku sash) from Mamedai Go.
It was given to me by a craftsman and has been stored as is.
It is 5 cm wide, made by folding a tenugui (hand towel) width (approx. 37 cm) into a narrow strip.
The fabric is slightly thin, with plain ends of 50 cm on both sides. The total length is approximately 3 meters.
Mamedai Go's Sanjaku Obi is highly popular and I believe this one is very rare.
Please consider purchasing it.
