These are Ashinaka (half-length straw sandals) made by my aunt, who enjoys crafting them from recycled kimonos (silk, etc.) and unused cotton fabrics.
They are worn by gripping the thong with your toes.
The core of the thong is made of fleece for a soft finish.

If purchasing multiple pairs of fabric sandals or Ashinaka together, we can accommodate up to 2 pairs.

Wearing them for extended periods from the start may cause pain in the arch or other areas of your foot. Please use them gradually.

My aunt's sandals are tightly woven, but for washing, we recommend soaking and then gently hand washing.
To prevent loss of shape, place them between bath towels and press them to remove excess water.
- If the front part of the thong stretches, untie the knot on the underside, pull it to adjust, and retie. This allows you to wear them comfortably at any time.
