This is a DIY part for fixing 2x4 lumber vertically to create posts.
To simply erect posts, no complex procedures or special tools are required.
It can be easily installed as it uses jack force for secure fixing.
Imitation and plagiarism are prohibited.
Adjusters with only the upper part have existed for a while, but I considered how those without an 8mm drill could manage, and thus conceived and created the lower part. I am the one who came up with the drill-free type.
DIY Storage Parts
A washer has been added between the hexagonal top part and the wood. This addition provides stability and acts as a lock nut.
Therefore, when assembling the top part, please insert the washer onto the bolt before inserting it into the hole.
Assembly
As it will be shipped disassembled, please insert the washer onto the bolt as shown in photo 3, lightly tighten it (do not overtighten), insert the wood, then add the washer, nut, nut, and washer in that order, and tighten the upper part with the nut.
Installation Method
① Cut the 2x4 to be used as a post to a length of approximately 80mm less than the installation height.
② Screw the lower part of the adjuster to the top of the 2x4 cut in ①. (Photo 4)
③ Insert the threaded side of the upper adjuster part into the hole drilled in the post in ②.
④ Once aligned with the installation location, stand it vertically (use a level), and you can tension it by turning the lower nut clockwise with a wrench.
〇 Please sandwich the protective sheets between the floor/ceiling and the post/adjuster. Attaching them with double-sided tape is easy.
Required Tools
〇 13mm wrench or monkey wrench, or other tool to turn the nut
〇 Electric drill or impact driver or Phillips head screwdriver
〇 Saw (You can also have it cut at a home improvement store)
〇 Level (There are also apps available.)
