Mix with Water Before Use Mix the cerium oxide polishing powder with water before use. Add an appropriate amount of water to create a milky polishing slurry (polishing liquid).
Step 1 Clean the Glass Surface Before polishing, thoroughly wash away dust, sand, dirt, and other debris from the glass surface. This will prevent additional scratches during the polishing process.
Step 2 Apply the Polishing Liquid Apply the mixed cerium oxide slurry to a firm sponge, polishing pad, or felt pad. Then, spread it evenly over the glass surface.
Step 3 Keep the Surface Moist During polishing, spray a small amount of water to keep the glass surface lightly moist. This allows the polishing particles to move smoothly and improves polishing efficiency.
Step 4 Polish with Sufficient Force Apply firm, even pressure while spreading the cerium oxide slurry thoroughly over the entire glass surface. By polishing in a circular motion or with a cross-motion for at least 10 minutes, the cerium oxide will sufficiently act on the glass surface, providing a higher polishing effect. For deep scratches, using a rotary polisher (500-2500 RPM) will further improve polishing efficiency and finish.
