Tea-colored haori jacket, based on wisteria purple with a 5-color stripe pattern. 100% wool. Made in Japan. Unused.

Chabaori (tea jacket)
A muted greyish-brown,紬-like fabric with stripes in varying shades of blue and red on a wisteria base.
This is a type of kimono haori, but it is not only used for going out but also as loungewear at home.
The length is about waist-high, so it won't wrinkle even when sitting in seiza (formal kneeling posture).
There are no gussets on the sides.
Instead of a haori himo (cord), it is worn by tying the fabric ties sewn onto the collar.
It's easy to understand if you think of the jackets often provided at ryokans (traditional Japanese inns).
There are convenient pockets on the lower front left and right sides.
