Anselm Kiefer Solaris Nijo Castle Dyed Original Limited Hanten Size M

US Size:

I have cherished this item as part of my collection, but I am now decluttering. This is a rare item that is difficult to obtain nowadays.
If you are looking for it, please take this opportunity.
The following is quoted from the product page.

This happi coat was dyed using the traditional Inden (stenciled dyeing) technique to commemorate an exhibition held at Nijo Castle in Kyoto. The deep indigo blue, reminiscent of Japan Blue, is intricately stenciled with an original crest featuring a sunflower motif designed for the exhibition and the exhibition title.
The vivid contrast between the dark color and white is a characteristic feature of Inden dyeing. When worn, the large crest stenciled on the back creates an even more powerful impression. The fabric is made of cotton material with a moderate thickness, resulting in a finish that conveys the substantial feel of a traditional Inden happi coat. The production was handled by Sugishita Co., Ltd., an Inden dyeing studio in Kyoto with a history of 80 years. The subtle appearance of the Sayagata (interlocking gammadion) pattern on the lining when the cuffs are slightly rolled up is eye-catching, making this a piece that shines with attention to detail.
