Magnificent beaded frame

This was a gift received by my husband when he went to China for work. The clasp design is also unique and elaborate, unlike anything I've seen in Japan. It's so lovely that I almost wanted to keep it as a case for important documents. I've taken new photos, and if there's no one who wants it as is, I might consider relisting it with just the contents at a lower price... I'm still undecided.

However, while it is a very fine item, considering our age, the size of our apartment, and our sons' interests, we believe it would be better to pass it on to someone who can appreciate and display it for a long time, longer than our own lives. That's why we are listing it for sale.
