Traditional Sour Red Shiso Pickled Plums
Beautiful color to stimulate your appetite!! Easy to eat small size, 20% salt content, completely additive-free Kishu-grown small plums, 250g + red shiso pickled plums for sale.
We use only plums from our family's farm, harvested and salt-cured with only sun-dried salt by my brother and parents, then finished into pickled plums. They are then re-pickled with kneaded shiso and plum vinegar for a beautiful color.
Each container is carefully pickled, and we believe there is a generous amount of plum vinegar and shiso. The plum vinegar and shiso can also be used as seasonings for grilling fish or meat.
Red shiso contains the natural pigment anthocyanin, and pickled plums contain various beneficial components such as citric acid. These are expected to have various effects such as preventing influenza, recovering from fatigue, preventing heatstroke, promoting health, anti-aging, sterilizing effects, and aiding in dieting.
They can also be used in various dishes, not only for onigiri (rice balls), but also in dressings, for making shochu highballs with plum, served with a little plum on hot summer days, with somen noodles or cold udon, or even dipped in fried chicken for a refreshing taste.
Expiration Date: 2026.11.30
Can be stored at room temperature for a long time, making them useful in disaster situations.
