I bought this a long time ago and used it to store documents, which I loved.
This is a Showa-era product from about 40 years ago.

It has been stored in a closet for a long time and shows signs of age-related deterioration.
There are no tears, but there are noticeable sun-faded marks when the bag is opened.
The back also has marks and dirt.
The surface condition is not very good.
The cowhide itself has become very soft.
I placed a tea can next to it for size reference.

It is made in Japan, so the construction is solid.
