* This pet door allows only cats wearing the magnetic key to enter, helping to prevent stray cats from coming in.
* The flap can be controlled in 4 ways (locked shut, free entry/exit, entry only from outside, exit only to the outside).
* The lock is released by the magnetic key (approx. 10g) attached to your cat, allowing your cat to push the flap with its head to enter and exit.
* Includes 2 magnetic keys and a Japanese installation manual.
* Operates on a 9V alkaline battery (a battery used to test the door's magnetic key control will be included).

This item was originally purchased in preparation for adopting a rescue cat, but it was never used because the adoption agency stated that the cat could only be adopted if it was kept strictly indoors.

! There is a review on Rakuten for the same product stating that the magnetic key is too large to attach to a kitten's collar. We do not have cats ourselves, so we cannot confirm this, but we have uploaded photos of the key. It weighs 10 grams.

The box has some scuffs and dirt, but the pet door itself is unused and clean.
