A collaboration product with The Laughing Man, a character from the globally popular anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, has been released. The champagne bottle and case shimmer in purple and silver, inspired by the main character, Motoko Kusanagi, and are engraved with The Laughing Man's iconic mark. It comes with an original box and shopping bag designed to evoke the episodes of the series.
The year 2008 is said to have been an exceptionally superior year for grapes. In the Champagne region of 2008, after a spring with frequent rain and storms, intense heat and coolness alternated. The summer was cool, and despite limited sunshine, the air was dry, allowing the grapes to mature slowly and steadily. The temperature fluctuations created concentration and vintage strength in the fruit, resulting in champagne with concentrated umami and depth.
Vintage 2008 has a buttery aroma with beautiful notes of fresh honey and toasted spices. The rich flavor of honey and roasted hazelnuts fills the mouth, followed by a long and refined citrus taste reminiscent of lemon.
