1800s Vintage Coffee Roaster
We are 4BEANS COFFEE ROASTERS, specializing in Ethiopian specialty coffee and antique coffee equipment.
We have a physical store (roasting studio) in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture.
- Manufacturing Year: Around mid-1800s
- Country of Origin: USA
- Dimensions: Diameter 20cm x Length 43cm (including handle) x Height 20cm (including crank)
This is a vintage pan-shaped coffee roaster (hand-cranked roaster) used around the mid-1800s.
You can enjoy roasting coffee beans with a vintage atmosphere while camping or at home.
This item is perfect for those who want to feel the vintage atmosphere in every detail.
Place it on a stove or campfire and roast green beans by turning the handle.
It has internal paddles that rotate with the handle, preventing the green beans from burning and ensuring even heat distribution.
Please try your best to roast by adjusting the height above the flame and the heat level!
The condition is excellent, considering it's over 100 years old, and it retains a wonderful vintage texture.
This is a well-preserved, USA-made vintage hand roaster that is rarely seen in Japan.
For comfortable use, we have cleaned the interior and removed rust.
For cleaning, we used body-friendly citric acid and baking soda instead of industrial chemical agents.
*For your peace of mind, we perform test roasts at our store. Please note that coffee components and aroma may remain inside the roaster after testing.
