Tea Pitcher x 1
Teacups x 6
Other Brand: Ceramic Tea Saucers x 6
The bamboo tea tray and display stand are for photography purposes only and are not included.
How to Use Ceramic Tea Ware
1. First, pour hot water into the gaiwan to warm it. (Warming all tea ware is essential.)
2. Next, pour hot water into the tea pitcher (server) to warm it.
3. Similarly, warm the teacups.
4. Add tea leaves to the teapot.
5. Then, pour hot water from a slightly higher position. (This allows the tea leaves to open up as they absorb air.)
6. Cover the teapot and wait for brewing. (The first infusion typically takes about 10 seconds.)
7. Do not pour the tea brewed in the teapot directly into the teacups. Transfer it to the tea pitcher first to ensure a uniform flavor. This is also useful when dividing tea brewed in the teapot among cups.
Ideal for Sencha, Gyokuro, Taiwanese tea, Tieguanyin, Chinese green teas (Longjing, White Tea, Zhuyeqing, Biluochun, Houkui, etc.), and Jasmine tea.
