I purchased this when my dog (a 5kg miniature dachshund) developed a herniated disc, as recommended by the veterinarian.
It has a firm core in the center that stabilizes the spine when attached.
This restricts movement, preventing jumping, which I believe was beneficial for treating the herniation.
I used it for about a month and washed it carefully, but there are some signs of use.
