Poveo Patella Brace Right Leg 3XL for Medium to Large Dogs

My dog had a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, so I hurriedly purchased this and had him wear it for a few hours. However, he ended up having surgery soon after, so I home-cleaned it and put it away.
This is the type with hinge plates.
Would this be suitable for a dog with patella or leg concerns?
