~Hokkaido~ Okhotsk Yaki Teacups (Set of 2) - Bihoro Kiln, Brand New Unused - Auction Ends Here

US Size:

Thank you for looking at my listing among so many others.
This is a set of two beautiful teacups in the indigo blue of Okhotsk Ware.
Okhotsk Ware is a general term for pottery mainly produced at Bihoro Kiln in Bihoro Town, Abashiri District, Hokkaido!
It is known as a unique piece of pottery in the world, with the beautiful contrast between Okhotsk Blue, inspired by the majestic sea and sky of Okhotsk, and white, which expresses the crashing waves and drift ice.

I would be delighted if you could enjoy a mug of barley tea with ice in this cup, feeling the essence of Hokkaido and Okhotsk from wherever you are!

The indigo blue sea, the scattering waves, and the sherbet-like water surface at the moment of freezing are expressed, inviting the holder's heart to Okhotsk.
This is a unique piece of pottery loved by the townspeople as well.

These teacups are approximately 8 cm in height and approximately 7 cm in diameter at the top rim.

I'm not sure why I have them, but this is the last set available for purchase by two people.
They will be shipped in a box, protected with cushioning material, via Letter Pack Plus (600 yen). Tracking is available.
I wish I could offer them at a lower price, but I apologize for the price setting due to high shipping costs.
