☆☆Features of Eheim Mech☆☆
☆This is a ceramic ring-shaped filter media that is highly durable and resistant to breakage during cleaning.
●It does not disintegrate when washed and does not produce a large amount of powder that can cause motor or impeller failure.
☆It creates a fine and uniform water flow in the initial stage of filtration, providing efficient mechanical filtration.
●Bacterial colonization is also good, and because it is ring-shaped, it is less prone to clogging even when used as mechanical media, allowing for longer cleaning intervals.
☆It does not affect the pH or hardness of the water at all, so it can be used with peace of mind for fish species sensitive to water quality.
●It has a large surface area and is also effective for biological filtration.
Shape: Ring (diameter 9-12mm x length 9-13mm)

☆☆Features of Substrate Pro☆☆
This is a high-performance filter media from Eheim, known for its high performance and durability.
It achieves a large surface area of approximately 450m2 per liter.
Its porous structure with appropriately sized pores provides optimal conditions for the colonization of nitrifying bacteria, quickly stabilizing water quality immediately after setup.
It does not affect water quality, so it can be used in alkaline water conditions when combined with coral sand, or in weakly acidic water conditions when combined with Eheim Toph.
Please rinse thoroughly with tap water before use. When cleaning after setup, lightly rinse with lukewarm water.
