This item is useful for those who purchased a big bore kit compatible with normal heads but cannot install it due to excessively high compression, or for adjustments after milling the cylinder and head surfaces. Since a 2mm thick gasket is not commercially available, we manufactured this one ourselves. It is laser-cut from CAD data.

After installation, please reconfirm the tightening torque and other specifications after running the engine for a short while and allowing it to heat up.

For reference, the optimal compression ratio for an engine varies greatly depending on the individual unit. Misinterpreting information from the internet and building with a compression ratio that is said to be just right can lead to quickly damaging the engine. For those performing a big bore for the first time, we recommend starting with the minimum compression (just enough for the engine to start with the starter) and gradually adjusting the compression while observing the results.
