Aluminum Welding Solder Rods - Set of 30
Aluminum Welding Solder Rods - 30 Piece Set
1.6mm Rod, Melts at 300°C, Approx. 25cm Length, Low-Temperature Melting, No Special Equipment Needed, Domestic Shipping
Weld metal at 300°C using a torch (a turbo lighter also works).
Low-Temperature Aluminum Welding Rods
Melting Point: 300°C
Rod Diameter: 1.6mm
Rod Length: Approx. 25cm
Ideal for those who want to easily weld or repair items.
Heat the material to be welded with a torch or similar tool, then use these rods to weld.
Common uses include repairing metal water pipes, car mufflers, and for artistic purposes.
No special welding equipment is required.
Instructions:
Step 1: Clean the surface physically and polish it.
Step 2: Heat the base material to the working temperature of the welding wire (380°C-400°C). Use the heat from the base material to melt the welding wire, forming a weld. Avoid burning the welding wire with the flame. When the base material surface temperature is sufficient, the welding wire will flow well, move like capillary action, and penetrate.
Three-Step Process:
For thin aluminum repairs, heat the aluminum base material to the appropriate working temperature. Rub the welding wire back and forth to melt and fill the joint, forming a weld.
Four-Step Process:
Small parts can be welded with propane gas. Larger parts should be heated with industrial gas or a suitable heating device. Allow to cool naturally after welding.
Detailed Operating Precautions:
1. The surface of the base material must be dry and clean.
2. The base material temperature should reach 400°C and be maintained at 400°C during the welding process.
3. After the base material temperature reaches 400°C, the welding wire will melt naturally through heat conduction from the base material.
