Aquarium Cooler TECO TK-500 with Built-in Heater
The period of use is unknown, but this is a relatively new TK500 from before the ZTK era.
Although not supported in Japan, this is the same model as the current ZTK-500, as it was a WiFi model when released.
I have confirmed operation and cleaned the unit before listing.
I circulated water from a 20L bucket and performed internal cleaning with citric acid and confirmed operation.
I set it to 8 degrees, and the water temperature dropped perfectly to the set temperature. There was a lot of condensation, so I checked for about 2 days and then stopped it, but there are no cooling issues.
I removed the exterior and cleaned the interior to clean the details, so there are no blockages in the cooling fins.
I will include images from the disassembly.
For this listing, I have turned off the heater function to reset it to initial settings.
If the heater turns on without water, it can cause damage, so I have turned off the heater function in the settings.
When using, please be sure to turn on the heater function after circulating water.
I will include a printed copy of the online manual.
Hose joints and packing are included, so you can use it immediately.
The parts for clamping the hose and a wrench-like tool are missing, but I don't think they are necessary.
The wrench for securing the top cover can be locked with a regular flathead screwdriver or a coin.
I do not feel the necessity of hose clamp parts.
