Genovese Basil Seeds - Over 100 Seeds - Spring Sowing - Herb Seeds
Over 100 seeds from Genovese basil grown in our home last year (2025). Organically grown without pesticides.
Genovese basil is an herb native to Italy, ideal for making the Genovese sauce commonly used in Italian cuisine. Genovese sauce is made with basil, pine nuts, garlic, salt, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil, and can be used in a variety of dishes, especially pasta.
While most common basil varieties become tough and lose flavor after flowering, Genovese basil is characterized by its flavor remaining even after blooming.
