[A Word from the Seller]
The blue color of borage is also called Madonna Blue because it was used to paint the blue robes of the Virgin Mary.
Its beautiful, deep blue color changes to pink when floated in wine.
It's also gaining attention as an edible flower!

[Plant Profile]
- Annual
- Cold Tolerance: Strong
- Heat Tolerance: Weak
- Flower Meanings: Courage, Protection, Forgetfulness of Sorrows, Change of Heart

- Sowing Time
Warm Regions: September - October
Cold Regions: March - May
Optimal germination temperature is 15-20℃.

- Sowing Method
The seeds are large and germinate easily, making them simple for beginners to sow.

They grow quite large, so spacing them about 50cm apart will ensure good air circulation and prevent rotting.

- Soil and Fertilizer
You don't need to worry too much, but if you prepare them, standard potting soil or herb soil will work fine.
They will grow sufficiently without being too fussy!

Fertilizer is not necessary.
If you give them too much, they will grow lush leaves but produce few flowers, and they will become more susceptible to aphids, so be careful.

- Watering
They are weak to high temperatures and humidity, and their lower leaves will wither if they become too moist. Grow them on the drier side, being mindful of excess moisture.

For potted plants, water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom of the pot when the soil is dry.

- Caution
The surface of the leaves has white, stiff hairs that feel prickly to the touch.
Some people may experience skin irritation, so please be cautious.
