Natural Aquarium Driftwood - Extra Large, Impressive Horn Wood - Submerged and Confirmed
??Special Mercari Sale Price! ??
This is an extra-large piece of hornwood with powerful, large horns. It can be displayed upright or in various other orientations, showcasing its captivating form from different angles, as shown in the images.
*Please note: This driftwood took a relatively long time to sink. Recommended for those who are patient or do not intend to use it in an aquarium.
*Please refer to the image with the ruler for size.
??About the Driftwood
This driftwood was purchased from a shop and has undergone a thorough, albeit amateur, process of tannin removal and submersion testing.
◇Amateur Tannin Removal Process (My personal method):
1. Rinse and brush clean.
2. Soak in water with baking soda for about 2 weeks (water changed regularly).
3. Boil (submersion is confirmed during this step).
4. Dry and brush clean.
While I strive for meticulous work, there may be some sand or dirt remaining within the driftwood that I couldn't remove.
Also, as it is a natural item, there may be cracks, scratches, or chips.
To ensure the safety of living creatures, some sanding has been done, but this is a natural driftwood listed as close to its original state as possible.
Recommended for interior decoration, and for housing reptiles and amphibians.
?Use in aquariums or with living organisms is entirely at your own risk.
?This driftwood has been dried after submersion testing, so it will not sink immediately. Please perform submersion treatment. (Feel free to ask if you need help with submersion methods; I'll assist within the scope of my experience.)
?To help you visualize the driftwood's layout, I've included images from as many angles as possible, including shots where it is not self-standing.
?To keep prices as low as possible, I may use recycled cardboard boxes for shipping.
