This is a G-clamp.
I'm not sure of the difference between a C-clamp and a G-clamp, but since the main body is made of ductile iron, it gives a sturdy impression.

I don't know what kind of finish this is, but the surface is rough and has scattered peeling.

Since ductile iron is cast iron, I think this is the texture, but those who are concerned about it may want to refrain from purchasing.
