This is a G-clamp.
I'm not sure of the difference between a C-clamp and a G-clamp, but the main body is made of ductile iron, giving it a sturdy impression.

I'm not sure of the finish, but the surface is rough and has scattered peeling.

Since ductile iron is cast iron, I believe this is the natural texture, so those who are concerned about it may want to refrain from purchasing.
