This is a stylish, cafe-style enclosure made from OSB boards. I am a reptile breeder. Although the structure is simple, it is a proven, self-made enclosure that is equipped with convenient features for keeping small reptiles, from babies to breeding. I periodically list enclosures that were originally created for displaying pets sold in my shop.
The bottom is made of NF board, which is waterproof and has excellent antibacterial properties, making cleaning easy. It is also sealed with caulk. The 5mm thick board allows heat from the panel heater to transfer easily.
The top panel opens with hinges and can be securely fastened with a stylish antique-style lock. It uses a heat-resistant fiberglass mesh, so you can also use a top heater.
The sliding doors are made of durable, transparent, and lightweight acrylic, with a lock to prevent escape. The entire enclosure is light and easy to handle, with a convenient grip indent that allows you to carry it with one hand.
The sides have mesh for improved lighting and ventilation. This prevents the enclosure from becoming dark even when items are stacked on top, and does not detract from the aesthetic.
How about this for small pets such as hamsters, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, leopard geckos, tortoises, and lizards?
