RYOBI Ryobi BD-122 Electric Screwdriver 2 NiCad Batteries 12V

The item was stored in its dedicated case for about 2 hours of use, and then left untouched for 3 to 4 years.

The NiCad battery that was attached to the main unit charged and worked without issue, and the driver operated fine.

The other spare battery would not finish charging even after charging all day. It also did not work when attached to the driver, indicating it is not charging. Since the spare battery was not used, it is unclear if it can be repaired by reviving the NiCad battery.
