104/Working 1976 Citizen Cosmotron Electronic Tuning Fork Men's Vintage
This is a Citizen Cosmotron electronic balance watch released in '76.
The electronic balance is a revolutionary feature for its time, using a battery to drive the balance instead of a mainspring.
The crown has a CTZ engraving.
Time adjustment by pulling the crown out one step is problem-free.
The calendar can be switched without issue using the push-turn method by pushing the crown.
Size: W38 x 41 mm, Thickness: 12mm
A new leather band has been attached.
The current daily difference is approximately ±1 minute when placed flat. It operates within the stated accuracy, but please consider this as a guideline as the overhaul history is unknown. Also, as this is an old item, there may be accuracy errors depending on the environment, posture, or temperature after purchase. Please allow for a ±5 minute difference in accuracy after arrival. Please purchase with the understanding that maintenance may be required.
There may be omissions in the description of the condition, so please comment if there are any areas of concern.
Exterior: There are scuffs on the windshield and case.
The battery was replaced on 26/4/15 and it is working, but there is no guarantee of remaining battery life after that.
Water resistance has not been tested, so waterproofing cannot be guaranteed.
