Nobuko Okubo - Nanao - Hadajuban and Susoyoke - L Size - White

US Size:

This is a set of a slip that prevents kimono from losing its shape, developed by kimono stylist Nobuko Okubo, and a susoyoke (hem wrap skirt) that creates a slimmer lower body.

The hadajuban (under-kimono slip) is characterized by deep slits on both sides and ample okumi (front overlapping panels) to fully cover the bust.

The susoyoke has a wide, trapezoidal cotton waistband that lifts and wraps around the stomach and hips, providing a supportive effect like a girdle. The excess cotton waistband when wrapped is intentional. Folding the excess cotton creates a corrective effect around the stomach.
The hem fabric is made of Bemberg dechine for smooth movement. The hem is designed with a long fold to ensure a beautiful drape and hemline. (From Komono Ya Nanao Online Shop)

*Purchased from Komono Ya Nanao Online.
Opened and inspected upon arrival on 4/6.
I realized the size was too large and have not tried it on.
Please consider if you are not concerned about this.
The manufacturer does not offer size exchanges, so I plan to repurchase in M size.

Thank you for looking.
