Handmade glass jewel ring made with dichroic glass.
Fired in a cloisonné kiln.
Sparkling rainbow multicolor on a clear base.
Achieved through repeated layering and firing.
Dichroic glass is titanium glass developed by NASA. When fused, it displays beautiful iridescent, metallic, and sparkling effects depending on the viewing angle. It is titanium-strengthened glass and is resistant to breakage from drops.
Made with very expensive materials.
Fired at high temperatures.
The size is approximately 17mm x 19mm, roughly rectangular.
The surface is smooth.
It has thickness.
Due to the uneven surface of the dichroic glass before firing, indentations will form on the sides even after fusing.
Therefore, there are some indentations on the sides.
This is characteristic of dichroic glass and not a scratch.
As this is a handmade piece, exact color replication is not possible. It is not perfectly round, square, or rectangular.
