【Traditional Craft】Akita Cedar Barrel Tub Kikuchi Kobo Engraved Natural Wood Rice Tub Bowl Cover

Thank you for looking.
This is a traditional craft from Akita Prefecture, Akita Sugi Oketaru (Akita Cedar Tub/Barrel).
It is a genuine masterpiece showcasing the skill of artisans, with the label of a Traditional Craft designated by the Minister of International Trade and Industry (now the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry).
The beautiful straight grain of Akita cedar is uniformly arranged, and the smooth texture allows you to feel the warmth of the wood and its refreshing scent. The bottom is stamped with Kikuchi.
While it can be used as a rice tub, it can also be used for various purposes depending on your ideas, such as a small item holder in the kitchen, a luxurious interior decoration, or a planter cover.
The size is shown in the 8th and 9th images.
As this is an old item, there are scratches etc.
