Southern Island Herb: Gekko Leaves (20 pieces) with a bonus (seeds)

These are shell ginger leaves, naturally cultivated in a seaside garden on Amami Oshima, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
Grown without pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or herbicides, and enriched with abundant sea minerals, these shell ginger leaves are dark green and highly aromatic, making them highly recommended.

You can dry them to make shell ginger tea,
or use them as a natural insect repellent, deodorizer, for food preservation, or as an ingredient in soaps.

Herbal tea made from fresh shell ginger leaves has a refreshing, spicy ginger-like aroma and a fresh, sweet aftertaste that is addictively delicious and highly recommended.

We will fold them to fit an A4 size envelope and send them via Yu-Packet.

This is an incredibly generous size for herbal tea!

* While we do not guarantee weight, the example in the photo weighs over 230g for reference.

We will include a few shell ginger seeds as a bonus, so you can enjoy them with the leaves as shell ginger tea, or sow the seeds and enjoy growing your own shell ginger.

Polyphenols: Shell ginger contains 34 times more polyphenols than red wine.
Polyphenols have antioxidant effects that prevent arteriosclerosis and myocardial infarction,
and are also used for anti-aging and cancer prevention.
It also contains linoleic acid, which promotes fat breakdown, and
components that inhibit collagenase, so it is also used to resolve skin problems
such as sunburn, dark spots, and for skin whitening.

* The images are taken with leaves around 40cm in size, but when shipping, the leaves will be a mix of sizes, from larger leaves (over 50cm) to smaller leaves (under 15cm).

* If you are a restaurant owner or require leaves of a specific length for cooking or other uses, please contact us.
In that case, shipping will be via Takkyubin (courier service) and the price will differ.
