This is persimmon leaf tea.

The persimmon leaves are harvested while still green, shade-dried, chopped, and then heat-sterilized.

Unlike simple drying, this process eliminates concerns about mold and spoilage.

Persimmon leaves are rich in Vitamin C, which is known to be heat-resistant and is not destroyed even when exposed to boiling water or roasting.

Because it is thoroughly heat-treated and finely cut, it brews well. You can drink it like Japanese green tea in a teapot.

It is also easy to blend with other teas.

You can also brew it by boiling.
