This is a hinoki table made from a approximately 60-year-old tree that grew strong, enduring the harsh climate changes at the foot of Mt. Ishizuchi, the highest peak in Shikoku.
This is a fresh product, cut in October 2024 from my own forest.
All handcrafted from felling to finishing.

[Features]
① You can enjoy the pleasant scent of natural hinoki when placed in your room.

② It is carefully finished, so you can feel the softness and warmth of natural wood when you touch it.

③ No paints or chemicals are used, so we believe it can be used with peace of mind even in homes with small children.
[Benefits of Natural Hinoki]
Phytoncides, abundant in natural hinoki, have high antibacterial properties and are effective in relieving stress. Hinoki has a high content of phytoncides and continues to emit them even after felling. The woody scent contained in hinoki is known to calm brain activity and autonomic nervous system activity, promoting relaxation. It brings numerous benefits such as lowering blood pressure, reducing irregular pulse, and improving sleep.
