Heisei Molybdenum All Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife, 20cm Blade, Sharpened
This is a Japanese-made kitchen knife with the Heisei era mark.
Given that the inscription is the era name itself, it is likely that this knife was produced as a commemorative item in the early Heisei period (around the time of the era change).
It features an all-stainless steel, integrated handle with a hammered finish, typical of that era.
The design combines practicality and a sense of the times, often seen in professional kitchen knives from the early 90s.
The manufacturer's mark is intentionally omitted,
leading us to believe it may have been a commemorative item, a limited edition, or a wholesaler's special project,
though details remain unknown.
This also means it's an item that offers historical value and room for imagination.
Knives with similar inscriptions and specifications are rarely available today,
making this an ideal collectible item symbolizing the Heisei era as a practical tool.
In unused or lightly used excellent condition.
Recommended for practical use, as well as for collecting Heisei retro or era-change related items.
* Knives with era name inscriptions are scarce, and reacquiring one with the same specifications will be difficult.
Finished with natural whetstones.
Thank you for viewing.
