What is Wabash? It is a traditional denim fabric used mainly in American workwear from the early 20th century (1910s-1920s), featuring dot stripes on indigo-dyed fabric. The dot pattern is created using a technique called discharge dyeing (bassen), where the color is removed. It is popular among American casual enthusiasts as a phantom fabric because dirt is less noticeable and it ages beautifully over time.
