This item is inspired by the trucker caps popular in America in the 1970s, with a slightly shallower crown than the originals for improved wearability.
It is designed to evoke the image of how these caps changed over time with dirt and wear as they were worn daily by workers as part of their uniforms.

The fabric is twill cotton, chosen for its ability to fade over time. You can enjoy the aging process as you use it for a long time.

The lining is made of the same fabric as the outer material, giving it a soft feel. The sides of the crown, which may initially feel stiff, will conform to your head with wear, developing a relaxed and characterful look over time.

Caps from this era were often sewn with chain stitch machines, and this trucker cap is also sewn using a 1970s machine. A distinctive feature is the chain stitching on the underside of the brim and the binding tape of the lining.

Furthermore, while most metal top buttons on caps made in Japan today are plastic, HWDOG uses steel for the top button hardware, just like in the past.
