Vintage Fleur-de-lis Buckle 1970s
This is a vintage belt buckle from Classico Italia!
Classico Italia has a history of accessories that embody Italian traditional craftsmanship, elegance, and the philosophy of highest standards and exemplary.
Classico Italia has emphasized handmade techniques by artisans, such as hand-stitching and careful dyeing, not only for tailoring suits but also for accessories like belts, shoes, and bags. In the 1980s and 1990s, as Italian menswear was recognized globally as the pinnacle, elegant and dressy belt styles (such as crocodile and high-quality calf leather) were established.
In workshops in Florence and other cities, the tradition of artisans with years of experience handcrafting each piece, from leather dyeing to buckle attachment, continues to this day...
This is a belt buckle from the 1970s, carefully crafted within that tradition.
It was used by my father. Over the years, the white paint deteriorated and peeled off, so I decided to remove it all. The edges were also worn, so I torched them to create a burnt effect.
It's a good quality item, so I think you could re-cover the leather if you don't like it as is. Please check the images before considering.
Thank you for looking! ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
- Design: Fleur-de-lis ornamentation
- Material: Metal
- Studs: Studded around the edge
