All varieties have a certain degree of cold resistance and will die back in winter, but will sprout new shoots in spring.

They are very hardy and easy to grow, even for beginners.
In my home, I plant them in small-grained Akadama soil in a pot and submerge them in a biotope or water lily pot.

Grown alongside medaka, these plants are completely pesticide-free and safe for biotopes and medaka keeping.
